Lake Washington Institute of Technology (LWTech) is collaborating with several communities and technical colleges in the western U.S. to develop OER for laser and photonics courses. Few OER are available for such specialized courses. Instead of writing original course materials, LWTech developed OER by leveraging relationships with copyright holders at a national center.
