Session 1: Turbo Charging Everyday Tools: Using Teams and GenAI as "Critical Class Observer"

In this interactive session, participants will explore how familiar technologies such as Microsoft Teams and generative AI can support meaningful reflection on teaching practice.
The facilitator will share an experiment from Winter 2026 in which he recorded and transcribed a semester of lectures using Teams to improve accessibility. An unexpected outcome of the project was discovering how GenAI could be used to compare a teaching philosophy statement with actual classroom practice. This process provided new insights into how closely teaching aligned with personal values and helped identify opportunities for growth.
