FLO Workshop: Indigenous Land-Based Learning in Post-Secondary Education

Join us for a meaningful conversation exploring Indigenous land-based learning within post-secondary education. Participants will examine how learning through relationships with land and lived experience can support more holistic, relational, and meaningful learning environments.

Grounded in Indigenous ways of knowing and being, the session considers how land-based learning challenges conventional approaches to education by emphasizing reciprocity, reflection, experiential learning, and connection to place. Participants will engage with discussions on decolonizing educational practices, supporting Indigenous student success, and creating learning experiences that honour Indigenous knowledge systems respectfully and authentically.
