FLO Workshop: Teaching in the Postplagiarism Classroom – Practical Strategies with GenAI

This 90-minute FLO Workshop explores practical approaches for teaching in the postplagiarism classroom, with a focus on making student thinking visible when GenAI tools are part of the learning process. The session is particularly relevant for participants who incorporate problem-based learning (PBL) in their teaching and are seeking ways to adapt their pedagogical approaches in response to GenAI.
Moving beyond detection-oriented models of academic integrity, the session emphasizes learning design strategies that position GenAI as a transparent and purposeful component of student work. Using an example from the management discipline, participants will engage in a structured creative problem solving (CPS) activity in which GenAI is embedded at key stages. This approach demonstrates how postplagiarism tenets emerge through intentional design of process-oriented learning.
Participants will leave with a concrete framework they can adapt for their own disciplinary contexts.
