Facilitator: Dr. Ann Gagné
This session explores rapidly evolving approaches to GenAI in relation to accessibility. Participants are invited to slow down and carefully consider context and nuance around GenAI selection and application.
Ann discusses what accessible design looks like in GenAI tools, why it matters, and how educators can advocate for it. Using case examples, participants will work through practical approaches to using GenAI in instructional and assessment design, with inclusion built in from the start.
