The facilitators address some of the current concerns and challenges that are presented by students amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Duane Seibel has held numerous roles within the BC Post-secondary System and in the last 15 years, much of his work has centered around human rights, the development and delivery of student services, as well as creating fair student policies and practices. Duane recently left his role as Director, Student Affairs and Services at Douglas College to undertake consulting.
Tracy Ho is a staff member with the Douglas (College) Students’ Union where she provides Advocacy for students who believe they have been treated unfairly during the application of the institution’s policies or procedures. Tracy has strong roots within the Student Union movement first as a student leader within the Students’ Union of Vancouver Community College and the UVIC Student Society. For the last 10 years, she was a staff member with the student unions at VCC and Douglas College.
